We're hiring Care Plus Medical Services is a premier medical transportation company based out of Lyndhurst, New Jersey. We are currently seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team of caring and courteous healthcare providers. An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides Basic Life Support (BLS) services to patients in an efficient and professional manner in compliance with EMS and NJ State protocols, policies and procedures. The EMT position requires patient care, driving EMS vehicles, as well as lifting and moving patients and equipment, including lifting of patients from beds or emergency scenes onto stretcher and into ambulance; carrying of patients and equipment; climbing stairs or steps. This position is available for immediate hire. Full time, part time, and per diem shifts are available. For the right candidate, there is ample opportunity for growth. Applicant Qualifications/Requirements:- Valid NJ EMT or NREMT Certification- Valid NJ driver's license, in good standing- Valid CPR certification- CEVO or equivalent emergency driving class (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check- Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses, and registrations- Ability to work effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and hospital/nursing staff- Prior EMS experience is a plus, but not required Compensation and Benefits:- Hourly pay: $20.00-$23.00 (based on experience)- Shift differential pay offered for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts- Employee Referral Bonus- Competitive 401K Retirement Plan and Match- Flexible schedule
