DescriptionA large civil construction company located in Whitestone, NY, has an immediate need for an entry level administrative support person to work in our Estimating Department. This position will provide general support to the estimating team including but not limited to, tracking vacation time off, making copies, filing, develop and compile bid submission documents ensuring proper signatures are secured, updating and providing various reports using proprietary databases, tracking projects, schedule and attend department meetings, data entry, maintain contract lead subscriptions, coordinating the various bid documents for review prior to bid submission, respond to various inquiries from both internal and external customers, schedule bid review dates, attend MWBE outreach events, among other administrative tasks. This position is 100% in the office.RequirementsHigh school or GED required. Some administrative experience helpful, must be able to multi-task with the ability to change priorities when necessary, must be detail oriented, extremely organized, dependable, willing to learn and go the extra mile when it is called for.
