While at the University of Maryland, I found a passion for tutoring. This led to a semester long course on tutoring English which allowed me to work at the university's Writing Center for a total of three years. I had a specific passion for helping students and peers with resumes, cover letters, personal statements, and college/graduate school essays. Helping someone feel empowered by their own abilities in a way that helped them achieve their dream career has always been rewarding.
