We at the catalyst want the web site to reflect our hard work we put into our paper. We also would like to give students, faculty and anyone interested, an interactive, informative, one stop shop to get all the information needed. We have high hopes for the future of this web site and have been putting in time and effort to bring the best experience possible.
You can find the weather, surveys, campus news, opinion pieces, arts, entertainment, love, life, style, sports and a calendar currently on the web site. Articles are published as a feed system, so as soon as we get them, there on the site.
Some recent changes have included a calendar page where anyone can see the activities from clubs and organizations, athletic events, holidays, the academic calendar and the student news paper deadlines. All this information is clearly organized and simple to access. Go ahead and check it out for yourself, you will be impressed.
Some future changes to the website will include a meet the staff page with pictures and a description of who we and what we do. We also plan to have twitter updates on our site where you can easily see the latest athletic scores, time sensitive news, event reminders, and more. We also want to add student media to the site. We want students to be able to show off some of their creative work. You could submit drawings, pictures, poems, anything you can think of.
