One of the great prof.s at SUNY Old Westbury. He is very accommodating and understanding if you need extensions on papers. He is a great asset to the school and to the students that attend his courses. I highly recommend taking prof. Ozgercin if you are a PEL major or interested in the field of politics, he is very knowledgeable! |

Am currently taking two courses with Ozgercin. prof. Ozgercin is OK,but there is a lot of reading and two exams and the paper is optional. Would be a easier class if there were tests in between instead of two long exams that are timed. |

prof. Ozgercin is very knowledgeable. I took him twice because the first time I had a death in the family therefore I wasn't there. But the second time around my eyes were so opened. I am working towards the sociological imagination :) |

Prof Ozgercin is a great individual. He is very passionate and knowledge beyond belief in his field. Be prepared you will work for you grade. He loves to hear his students opinions and encourages participation. Take great notes and read weekly and you will excel in his class. A great asset to the Old Westbury and the PEL dept. |

Really fascinating curriculum choices, especially using Orwells Animal Farm. It is a challenging class and he is opinionated but he grades impartially and you do learn a lot not only about politics but also your own personal opinion. Def not for the apathetic or lazy, but for everyone else he is a great prof.. |
