He is a great person! Very calm, & even hillarious at times. he doesn't let anyone fail! However he is difficult 2 understand at times. if you ask him a question he will answer with a question. he tries his great 2 get u 2 think! its COLLEGE! not HS! u have to work at it! taking this class is basically a commitment 2 teaching urself everything! great pers |

He is a really chill laid back person but as a profesor he can't teach but he does give out alot of curves, but still I wouldnt recommend this profesor. |

He puts up discussion boards on angel, does group work,and goes over powerpoints. This is chemistry its difficult stop complaining and study what he gives you and there's no way you won't do great Anyone that is complaining cannot blame the subject on the prof. who is trying his great to teach. He is such a friendly person and he loves all of his students |

Dr. Quarless is truly a GREAT prof. that cares for his students and gives many opportunities for his students to redeem their grades. Almost all chemistry and physics courses curve! I have taken Wu, the other chemistry prof at OW and getting a 29.5 was a C! Chemistry is not simple, U cannot slack! |

Dr. Quarless provide us with preparation work on Angel by putting up power point slides for each chapter, giving activities from the activity book, opening discussion boards where great answers would be awarded, and also making up practice exams. He does all this on his OWN time because he CARES and WANTS all his students to succeed and learn! |

hes a really friendly guy but has NO IDEA how to teach... uses Angel a lot to communicate and 1st exam curve - 35pts added 2nd - 30 pts added and third exam 'he said he was mad at us when he made it' so i think it was 50pts added + opportunity for 3 extra credit question... great in lab though goes really difficult on analysis there. = great guy bad teacher |

ok so i dont want to be mean but this guy doesnt know how to teach in a way that we will understand. He is very friendly and always happy, but it is impossible to understand the way he teaches. he also goes off on random topics that are TOTALLY irrelevant to what we are learning. I've been relying on the textbook for the entire class. |

He's a great guy he's an adjunct prof. at Nassau community college, thats where he atught me and I enjoyed his class alot he's very passionate about chemistry and he's teaching skills are wonderful |
