I grew up in Rhodes-Saint-Genese, which is a suburb 12 miles south of Brussels, in the French speaking part of Belgium.

In 1982 I came to America in order to obtain a college education.

During my studies at Suffolk University, in Boston Massachusetts, I tutored French for 6 years at the Modern Language Department.
